Chair Covers
Jersey farm advises that you have a minimum of 90 chair covers so that at least the main room has enough covered chairs for day and evening. If you decide on covers for the civil ceremony and then need to use the same covered chairs in the reception area there will be a small charge of £20.00 as we need to have extra staff to move the seating and replace with others. We don't mind which company you use as long as you understand that you or the supply company are responsible for the delivery, dressing and taking away of the covers and bows.

How will the day pan out ?
If you were having a civil ceremony with us we like this reasonably early as you have spent a lot on a day then you may as well have a nice relaxed one that is calm and make the most of it. We suggest your ceremony is at maybe 1pm then guests could arrive from 12 midday for drinks prior to the ceremony. The ceremony lasts approx. 20-30 minutes depending on readings etc. Guests would then take a arrival drink and head out onto the terrace for photos. Canapes can be served at this point. Allowing approx. an hour for photos. The bridal party will then be formed into a receiving line and guests invited to the tables. So approximately sitting down for the wedding breakfast at 3pm. Allowing 1 and half hours for the meal and time for speeches cutting of the cake etc. We envisage the meal being over by 6pm latest. If evening guests are invited for 7.30pm that gives you a nice break for guests to chill out and explore or just relax in the bar for about an hour. The evening guests start arriving at 7.30. The first dance would be around 8.30/8.45. Buffet would be served around 9.30pm and dancing until approx. 12.30am.
All together a relaxed and enjoyable hassle free day.
